If you are living in Myanmar, you have probably heard of Pyone Play, the first Myanmar online
video platform that counts more than 100,000 downloads on the Play Store. The service is totally legit, developped by Forever Group, the largest media group in the country and home of popular channels such as MRTV4 and Channel7.
Pyone Play live streams three channels in particular: MRTV4, Channel7 and MaharBawDi. The streaming service is sometimes victim of its success especially when the Myanmar national soccer team is playing live on TV.
Pyone Play is also offering the viewers to catch-up on a wide range of popular Myanmar TV shows such as The Money Drop or X Factor. Unfortunately, the replay service is not giving you the possibility to download videos and watch them offline later…
… at least not out of the box but the below tutorial will explain you how to do it very easily!
3 easy steps to watch Pyone Play offline
First of all, you need to download and install
Google Chrome if you do not use it already.
Once it is done, install an extension called Flash Video Downloader that you can find
here.
Now, you should see a small icon shaped as an arrow at the right side of the URL bar:

Then, go to Pyone play
website, select the video you would like to download and start watching it.
You should notice the little arrow turning blue

which is a good sign! While the video is still streaming, click on the arrow. You should see two filenames with two different resolutions. The higher the resolution, the bigger the file but the better the quality as well.
